    Add to Home Screen

    Use the portal like a native app on your phone

    2. 2.Tap the Share button at the bottom
    3. 3.Scroll and tap "Add to Home Screen"
    4. 4.Tap "Add" in the top right corner
    Android (Chrome)

    2. 2.Tap the menu (3 dots) in the top right
    3. 3.Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
    4. 4.Tap "Add" to confirm

    ✨ Once added, you can open the AIM Portal directly from your home screen just like any other app!

    Welcome to the AIM Portal! This guide will help you navigate all the features available to you as a parent.

    Portal Overview

    Your Children

    The top section displays all your registered children. Each card shows:

    • Checked In - Your child has arrived at school
    • Vacation - On planned holiday
    • Activities - Today's after-school programs

    The Quick Actions grid below gives you instant access to all portal features - from messaging teachers to ordering school clothing.

    Feature Guide

    Home Screen

    The home screen shows an overview of your children and their daily activities. You can see:

    • Your Children: View all your registered children with their current status (Checked In, Vacation, etc.) and the class/subject they are currently having

    • News Bar: Stay up to date with the latest school news and announcements, shown right on the home screen

    • Quick Actions: Access all portal features with one tap

    Attendance & Pickup

    Manage your child's attendance and pickup arrangements:

    • Report Absence: Notify the school when your child is sick, has a medical appointment, or is on vacation

    • Pickup by Others: Let the school know if someone else will be picking up your child

    • View History: See past absence reports and their status

    Please report absences as early as possible so we can plan accordingly.

    Messages

    Communicate directly with the school office or individual teachers.

    • Child-Specific Messages: When you write about your child, all parents connected to that child are automatically included

    • Direct Communication: Reach out to specific teachers or the office

    • Message History: All conversations are saved for your reference

    Meal Plans

    Manage your child's school meals:

    • View Menu: See the weekly meal schedule

    • Subscribe/Unsubscribe: Manage meal plan enrollment

    • Cancel Specific Days: Skip individual meal days if needed

    **Important**: Please remember to unsubscribe at least 8 days before the next month starts.

    Kids Activities

    Browse and enroll in after-school activities:

    • After-School Fun: View activities offered by the school and external teachers

    • Multiple Children: Use the selector at the top to switch between children's schedules

    • Activity Details: See times, instructors, and descriptions

    Parent Activities

    Join activities designed for adults:

    • Community Classes: Spanish lessons, Yoga, and more

    • New Sessions: Check back often as we add more activities

    • Easy Enrollment: Sign up directly through the portal

    Events & Trips

    Stay informed about school events:

    • Field Trips: View upcoming excursions and outings

    • Permission Requests: Approve or decline your child's participation

    • Deadlines: Make sure to respond before the stated deadline

    Clothing

    Order school uniforms and clothing:

    • Made to Order: Each item is custom made for your child

    • Delivery Time: Please expect approximately 2 weeks

    • Order Status: Track your orders through the portal
